Mr Carson hails from California’s Silicon Valley and Bay Area and is a serial entrepreneur. He has held CEO and board positions at several high-growth tech firms. In these roles, he was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and one of his companies was named a Deloitte Fast 500 winner. Later he was Associate Director (Telecoms, Tech, and Business Services) at UBS Investment Bank and Vice President at Jefferies, where he led several M&A and Capital Markets transactions reaching more than 20 countries.

In NYC, he was Managing Partner at Thornhill Partners where he worked with IBM Global Strategy, AMD, Simon and Schuster, and others to address new markets and M&A vs internal dev opportunities. He was Venture Partner at Enicial Ventures and then an Investment Manager at GU Ventures, where he made and managed investments in early stage high-tech, life sciences and fintech investments. He studied Computer Science at the University of California at San Diego and earned his MBA with a double major in Finance and Strategy from Wharton School of Business.

At XBTO Group, he builds relationships and runs Corporate Venture Capital, the company’s ecosystem investment strategy. He is the Chairman of DimensionStream and on the Advisory Board of Paradigm.

Mr. Carson is a regular guest lecturer in negotiations and crytpofinance at conferences, graduate schools and executive groups including Wharton School of Business, Chalmers Institute of Technology, Blockchain Innovators Summit, and Consensus Invest.
